Hello! I am finally here to talk about my favourite reads of 2017 even though we are already weeks into the year! I will be talking about my least favourite books next week!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

This was my first Leigh Bardugo and I absolutely loved it!! I loved the writing, the characters and the plot! Everything about this book was perfect. If I read Crooked Kingdom this year, It probably would have been on this list as well.

I loved it so much I got a tattoo which was inspired by the book.

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

Again this is my first V.E. Schwab book and I loved it!! Again everything about it was perfect anr I want to read more by her so badly.

A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab

As soon as I finished ADSOM, I went straight onto AGOS and I am so happy I did. Everything was perfect! This book involved pirates and I love a good book with pirates. I know for a fact if I read ACOL this year, It would also be on this list.

How to Make A Wish by Ashley Herring Blake

This book is so cute and fluffy and I love it so much! I love it when books are cute and light but also deal with some hard topics. That is why I love this book so much. I can’t wait to read more by her.

They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera

This was my first Adam Silvera book and it did not disappoint! This book sent me through so many emotions! I was laughing, crying, smiling and everything in between. Again this is a cute book which also deals with hard topics.

I loved the writing, characters and plot. I feel like if someone else tried to write this book, it would not have been the same.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Again this book sent me through every emotion a person can have! It deals with a very hard topic but Angie managed to get humour across. I loved the family in this book. In most ya book, the family is “broken” in some way so it was nice to see a full family being cute.

This is a book every person should read at some point in there life. I can’t wait for the film!

Simon vs the Homosapians Agenda by Becky Albertalli

This book means a lot to me! I related to Simon so much and I have never related to a character before. So that was a very nice feeling.

I loved the characters, the writing and the plot. I honestly can’t wait for the film to come out.
So those are my favourite reads of 2017! What were your favourites of the year?
